PALLET REPAIR LINE

Repair of the pallet is carried out at the repair table/nailing table. After the repair is complete, the operator clarifies/acknowledges and the finished pallet is transported back out into the flow and further through a pneumatic nail press.

The nail press works from above by pressing the pallet down against the roller track (spring-suspended) until it lands on a fixed stop. The pallet is pressed together in the nail press with high pressure on nine nail points.

After the nail press there is a reject station and 6 pallet magazines with subsequent buffer tracks. Pallets that have passed on from the nail press are sorted either out on the reject line or to one of the stacking magazines, depending on the operator's choice at the respective workstation.

INPUT

Forklift loads pallets onto a buffering infeed track. The stackers move on to the destacker where the pallets are separated and sent further in the flow one pallet at a time.

DOWNSTACKERS AND PALLET TUNERS

After the destacker, the pallet continues into a pallet turner, which consists of a drum with compartments for 6 pcs. pallets. With a functional sequence, the pallet turner turns pallets upside down and then moves the pallets on to the nearest free repair station.

REPAIR STATION

The repair station is a work station with a roller track that can be raised and lowered.

Pallets at free repair tables are fed to the buffer location.

When the operator chooses to receive the pallet, it is fed out onto the table for repair.

After manual repair, the pallet is turned right and the operator chooses which pallet magazine the pallet should be transported to. After selecting the pallet magazine (Category of pallet), the pallet is transported out via the lower conveyor track and on to a pneumatic nail press.

NAIL PRESS AND PALLET STACKING MAGAZINE

After repair and grading, the pallet goes through a pneumatic nail press.

The nail press works from above by pressing the pallet down on the roller track, which is suspended on springs, so that the pallet lands on a fixed stop.

After the nail press comes the stacking magazine with subsequent buffer tracks.
